Candlelight vigil for Ian Burnet - 22 year old VCU student who went missing in NYC

Tomorrow [Tuesday, January 10, 2012] at 7PM, a candle light prayer will be held for Ian Burnet. Those attending will meet in the parking lot in the front of Active Life Fitness Center in New Kent. That address is 11815 Aspengraf Lane, at Route 249.

Even if you don’t pray, please attend to show support for Ian’s family and friends.

I didn't know you knew him :\ I'm sorry

It doesn’t matter if I know him or not

The fact is that a son, a brother, and a friend of someone is missing. It’s a scary fucking thing that I have absolutely no control over, so I’m doing all I can do to get it out there so that maybe someone will see him on the streets and get him home.

Whenever I see a missing persons post on my dash, I reblog it. I just happen to know this one which is why I’m posting about it three times a day at the most.

This is all I’m saying on the subject. Ok. Bye.

How could someone even ask how many times you're going to post about Ian? :/ He's from Richmond, so honestly, being a Virginian, I'm going to do all I can to help.

Because some of my followers throw hissy fits when I don’t post things about Doctor Who/Party Down/Parks and Rec/whatever they followed me for 24/7

It’s all anyone can do. Post, reblog, get the word out, what have you. I’ll be damned if that kid doesn’t come home.

Thank you for being supportive<3

See this guy? He’s my friend and he’s actually missing. From the looks of it, I’m actually asking a lot if you can just reblog this instead of your other meaningless crap and help find him.
There is a Facebook group called FIND IAN BURNET (click the link).
You all say you would do the right thing, but when someone like me is actually asking for you to just simply reblog this, it disappoints me how little we’re willing to help someone that we’re trying to know is safe.
I’m praying for you Ian, come home safe.

Again, not fond of guilting people into reblogging things like this, but please.

While I’m not the one for guilting people to reblog things, this is really important.
I know I’ve already posted so many other things earlier saying the same thing, but I feel helpless and this is the best thing I can do.
